Pebble Creek
Ski Area is Celebrating The Spirit of Winter Sports
and the Idaho
Winter Games
Persons
of all ages are invited for dancing fun to the music of Lost
Boys at The SnowBall in Pebble Creek's Lodge. The SnowBall will
run from 6:00 to 8:00 with the Torch Light Parade at 7:30. The
Snow Queen will make a special appearance at the SnowBall and
perhaps a skiing appearance on the Aspen as well. To add to the
festivities, party clothes, glow necklaces and bracelets
are suggested.
In
the spirit of Olympic Torch Run, torches carried by professional
skiers and boarders will wind their way in a procession down the
mountain. The parade will begin about 7:30 pm and last
about 15 minutes. The community is invited to watch this
exciting event. In addition, anyone who can see Pebble
Creek's night-lights should be able to see the parade from their
location.
The
Aspen area and restaurant will be open for night skiing and
boarding until 9:30 pm. Lift tickets are required for
night skiing. There is no charge for the SnowBall and
watching the Torch Light Parade.
Other
events of the weekend include The Rockin' the Ridge Giant
Slalom, an Idaho Winter Games event on Saturday.
Sunday is a Pocatello Ski Association Sunday with and
Après-Ski Party as the lifts close.
